6、cting officer). 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 Materials. Materials and parts shall be in accordance with the applicable drawings and specifications. 3.2 Assembled projectile. The assembled projectile shall comply with all requirements specified on Drawing (Dwg.) 9236063, and with all requirements specified in
7、 the applicable specifications. . 3.3 Inert fill. Inert fill shall have a specific gravity as specified on Dwg. 9236063. 3.4 LosJing of inert fill 3.4.1 Mating surfaces. The mating surfaces of threads shall be free of inert fill and all threads shall be free of foreign material. If a chemical cleane
8、r is required, acetone or methylene chloride shall be used. 3.4.2 Fuze well. The fuze well shall be free from any foreign matter or loose fill prior to assembly of the liner. 3.5 First article inspection. This specification contains technical provisions for first article inspection. Require- ments f
9、or the submission of first article samples by the contractor shall be as specified in the contract. 3.6 Workmanship. The requirements of workmanship are as shown on the applicable drawing, in the applicable specifi- cations and the following: 3.6.1 Cleaning. If required the cleaning method shall not

Prior to the start of loading a sample projectile shall be trial loaded and a core sample taken to determine specific gravity. If acceptable specific gravity is achieved loading may proceed using the loading paramete
26、rs es- tablished during trial loading. Subsequent testing for specific gravity shall precede loading with a new batch or lot of inert filler raw materials and prior to the start of each months produc ti on . 4.4.4 Inspection equipment. The contractor shall submit for apprval of inspection equipment
27、designs in accordance with the terms of the contract. See Section 6 of MIL-A-48078 and paragraph 6 . 3 herein. 4.4.5 Supply & maintenance. Supply and maintenance of the equipment shall be in accordance with MIL-1-45607. 5. PACKAGING 5.1 Packinq - Level A. The projectile shall be packed in accordance
28、 with Dwg. 7549275. 5.2 Marking. Marking shall be in accordance with Dwg. 7549275. 6. NOTES 6.1 Intended use.
