3、t. Which provisions are the automatic shutoff requirements? Is it 9.4.1.1(g), (h), or (i)? Interpretation: The 9.4.1.1 automatic lighting shutoff requirements are 9.4.1.1(g), 9.41.1(h), and 9.4.1.1(i). Lighting alterations in a stairwell or corridor must comply with one of 9.4.1.1(g), 9.4.1.1(h), or 9.4.1.1(i). Question: Is this interpretation correct? Answer: YES Comments: The standard doesnt specifically say which automatic shutoff provision must be met. The intent is that one of the three automatic OFF provisions 9.4.1.1(g), 9.4.1.1(h), or 9.4.1.1(i) shall be used.
