It shall be used together with EN

The relay or
14、contactor shall be mounted and placed in an cair circulating heating cabinet. .I Each normally open and normally closed contact shall connect, conduct and disconnect the load specified in the product standard. The in-rush current shall be 12 times the rated current (applicable for the lamp load) for
15、 a period of 15 ms to 20 ms. Separate test samples shall be used in each case for loading with direct current, single phase alternating current and three-phase alternating current. For three-phase alternating current, the load shall be connected to three adjacent contacts. Arcing from phase to phase
16、 shall constitute a failure. 4.4 The coil of the relay or contactor shall be energized at the rated voltage. 4.5 The contacts shall be monitored for faultless function. 17、 O % of the rated voltage shall constitute a failure. 4.7 The service life test shall be performed as follows : 50 % at normal ambient temperature; 50 % at a pressure equivalent to 25 O00 rn and a temperature of 125 “C. The requirement for testing at an altitude equivalent to 25 060 m may be replace
18、d by testing with a 1 O % higher maximum ambient temperature. During the test, the housing of the relay or contactor shall be connected with the earth of the electrical installation by a fuse with a rating of 5 % of the rated resistive contact current, but not greater than 3 A. The temperature increase shall be measured for : plug-in relays : on the housing; screw-type connections : on the connector bolt.
