Cavities with unterminated contacts shall have filler plugs fitted (where applicable). Specimen shall be fitted with normal accessories
12、and terminated in accordance with the 3.2 - type and length of cable/fibre; - maximum permitted variation of attenuation; - high/low temperatures; - duration of extreme temperatures and rates of change; - number of cycles. Unless otherwise indicated in the technical specification the following detai

15、t the test; - Place the specimen in climatic chamber (at time to) - Bring the temperature levei to TA value during period (ti - to) - Maintain at TA temperature during period (t2- t,) - Change the temperature to T, during period (t3- t,) - Maintain a T, temperature during period (t4- t3) - Change th
16、e temperature to ambient temperature during period (t5- t4) - Maintain at ambient temperature during period (te- t5). These phases constitute one basic cycle (see figure 1) whose parameters are given in the product specification Unless otherwise specified in the product standard: - rate of temperature variation : 5OC/min; - (t,- ti) = (t4- t3) = (te- t5) = 30 min. 5.2 Final measurements and requirements The specimen shall be examined in accordance with the test: EN 2591-6101 Visual examination Figure 1: Basic cycle
