11、ification. Cable ends shall be allowed through the chamber or sealed. The connectors shall be tested in the mated condition or unmated with protective cover. 3.2 Unless indicated in the technical specification, the following details shall be specified : - mated and unmated connectors with protective

Damp air shall be circulated within the chamber. Arrangements shall be
14、made to avoid condensate from chamber walls or ceiling dripping on the specimens. 5 Method 5.1 Preconditioning Specimens shall be preconditioned for at least one hour unless otherwise specified by the technical specification. 5.2 Initial measurements (if applicable) They shall be performed as specif
15、ied by the technical specification. 5.3 Procedure Test specimens shall be placed in the chamber according to the technical specification. The test procedure shall consist of the following steps : Step 1 : in 2 h, the temperature of the cha+qer shall be raised to (65 * 3) OC and the relative humidity
16、 shall be increased to (95 -3 ) %. Step 2 : the above conditions shall be maintained for 6 h. Step 3 : in 16 h the temperature shall be progressively reduced to (38 o ).OC During this period, the relative humidity shall be maintained as high as possible and in no case shall drop below 85 %. These th
17、ree phases constitute one cycle. The number of cycles to be carried out shall be specified in the technical specification. +4 5.4 Final measurements (if applicable) The specimens shall be immediately subjected to the following tests : - EN 259 1 -B6 - Measurement of insulation resistance at ambient temperature, - EN 2591-D8 - Mating and unmating forces, - EN 2591 -Al - Visual examination with inspection for corrosion points.
