Page 3 prEN 2591-G7:1993 1 Scope This standard specifies a method of measuring the characteristic impedance of : - a permanent bus terminator; -
8、a removable bus or stub terminator. It shall be used together with EN 2591. 2 Normative references EN 2591 Aerospace series - Elements of electrical and optical connection - Test methods - General 1) 3 Preparation of specimens 3.1 Permanent bus terminator The terminator shall be wired with a length
9、of cable lower than 300 mm as stipulated by the product standard. 3.2 The terminator shall be terminated on its connector as stipulated in the product standard. Removable bus or stub terminator 3.3 Unless indicated in the technical specification, the following details shall be specified : - impedanc
10、e value; - test temperature. 4 Method The measurement shall require the use of an impedance meter. The test signal shall be sinusodal, frequency 75 kHz and 1 MHz, amplitude 2 0,3 V r.m.s 5 Requirement Impedance shall comply with the value specified in the technical specification.
