13、facture 3.1 .I Charge make-up The primary melting charge shall consist of pure raw material and/or recycled scrap. The pure raw materials shall be obtained through mineral transformation procedures approved by the purchaser. The origin, the nature and proportions of the material constituting the cha
14、rge shall be defined in the manufacturing schedule. The materials constituting the charge shall be supplied in accordance with a procedure which shall define the requirements for batching, inspection and recording of results. The raw materials and the scrap shall only be purchased from suppliers app
15、roved by the manufacturer for each of them. The approval of suppliers shall be made in accordance with written procedures defined in the quality assurance system of the manufacturer. Internal scrap shall be inspected and processed in accordance with written procedures approved by the user. 3.1.2 Pro
16、cess The process for obtaining the specified chemical composition shall be defined and be the subject of a frozen internal procedure. 3.2 Manufacture of ingots The ingots of the first melt are manufactured from one single charge. The ingots issued from remelting shall all be manufactured from one si
17、ngle ingot from the first melt. In case of an electroslag remelting, the composition of the slag shall be monitored and the relevant inspection procedure shall be written and frozen by the manufacturer. 3.3 Manufacture of forging stock All forging stock shall be mechanically hot worked with a minimu
18、m forging ratio of 3 : 1, by rolling, drawing and/or up setting, unless otherwise specified on the order or the manufacturing schedule. - -_ CEN PREN*ZbO PARTx2 93 M 340q589 0050893 848 = prEN 2860-2 Page 5 4 Inspection and testing 4.1 Non destructive tests 4.1 .1 Dimensions and tolerances The dimen
19、sions and tolerances of the products shall be defined in the order. The frequency of examination adopted by the manufacturer shall be sufficient to permit him to certify compliance with the requirements. 4.1.2 External defects The forging stock shall be visually inspected to detect possible surface
20、defects. The whole surface of each product shall be examined. The surface defects shall be removed by local dressing up to 3% of the nominal diameter. Local dressing shall not affect the sensitivity of any ultrasonic test which may be required. The dressed areas shall be re-examined to check that th
21、e defects have been removed. 4.1.3 Internal defects When required by the material standard or the order, the forging stock shall be ultrasonically tested in accordance to EN 2003-8.The whole surface of each product shall be examined. Unless otherwise specified, the test method and the acceptance lev
22、el shall be as required by the material standard or the order. 4.2 Destructive tests 4.2.1 Mechanical tests When required by the material standard or inspection schedule, mechanical testing shall be carried out . The heat treatment of samples shall be carried out in accordance with the requirements
23、of EN 2860-1, and the tests along 4.2.1.1 to 4.2.1.3. Unless otherwise specified, one sample shall be taken from the forging stock corresponding to the top of the original ingot. Testing shall be performed on proportional round test samples. The results shall comply with the requirements of the mate
24、rial standard. 4.2.1.1 Tensile test at ambient temperature Tests shall be carried out in conformity with EN 2002-1. 25、 creep rupture tests Tests shall be carried out in conformity with EN 2002-5. 4.2.2 Structure, segregation and inclusions When required by the material standard or inspection schedule, - macrographic and micrographic examinations shall be carried out in accordance with EN 2950, - grain size measurem
26、ent shall be carried out in accordance with EN 2002-8. The acceptance criteria and re-test procedures shall be defined by the order ar the inspection schedule. Unless otherwise specified, one sample shall be taken from the forging stock corresponding to the top of the original ingot. The results sha
27、ll meet the requirements of the material standard. 5 Marking All products shall bear the following identification marking : - material standard number; - cast I ingot number; - bar / billet identification number; - delivery condition code; - identification of the manufacturer and if necessary, of th
28、e plant; - inspectors stamp. The marking shall be hard stamped at least once on each product.
