10、nickel plated in-line splices for crimping on nickel plated copper conductors. They may be used at temperatures up to 150 “C maximum. Dielectric withstand vol
22、tage, 2 500 volts D.C. for 1 min. The leakage current shall be less than 2 mA. 23、code 19005 may be placed between the description block and the identity block. 7 Quality assu rance Quality assurance shall be in accordance with EN 3373-001 8 Details of assembly tooling 8.1 Crimping tools Crimping tools shall conform to the requirements of MIL-DTL-22520/37. 8.2 Heating devices Hot
24、 air heating devices shall be fitted with reflectors to concentrate the heat and protect adjacent materials from damage and shall produce an air temperature of 280 “C to 340 “C in the active zone of the reflector. For heating in areas where there may be a hazard due to the presence of flammable vapo
25、urs only heaters specially designed and approved for use in such areas shall be used. Page 6 prEN 3373-012: 2003 9 Marking The item code as per Table 1 shall be indicated by coloured bands on the crimp barrel as shown in Figure 1. 10 Packaging The packaging is to be marked with the EN designation, manufacturers name, part number, the quantity in the package and the date of manufacturer and batch number.
