9、 - Part 2-10: Glowing/Hot-Wire Based Test Methods - GlowMire Apparatus and Common Test Procedure 3 Method The test apparatus is described in IEC 60695-2-10, clause 4 and Figure 2. The glow-wire test shall be carried out in accordance with IEC 60695-2-10 and the following requirements: - the tested p
10、arts shall be fitted with the tip of the glow-wire positioned at a distance of (200 f 5) mm above the white board (approximately 10 mm thick and covered with a single layer of tissue paper); - the test shall be carried out on part supporting current carrying parts (main and signal) and parts of the
11、housing in contact with electric arcs; - temperature of the tip of the glow-wire: (960 f 15) OC; - duration of application: (30 f 1) s. 4 Req u i remen t The test shall be considered to be satisfactory if a flame or glowing of the tested part is extinguished within 30 s of removing the glow-wire and if there is no ignition of the tissue paper.
