It applies to aerospace structures using cor

13、ons given in EN 4408-1 and the followings apply : 3.1 alveolar material semi-finished product made of partly bonded or welded ribbons (before or after forming) to form geometrically identical patterns (see figure 1 and figure 2) 3.2 cell basic closed unit of an alveolar, made of two successive tapes

19、of the alveolar material 4 Drawings representation The general rules for the representation of parts including core material are specified in EN 4408-1, A general representation of parts including core material is given in 4.1. If the alveolar material is drainded, perforated, contains filling areas
20、 or inserts, this general representation shall be completed by figures as specified in 4.2. 4. I General representation 4.1 .I Each honeycomb or foam layer shall be identified. Figure 7 - Foam, cross section 4.2 Specific representations 4.2.1 Drained alveolar material If a layer is made up of drained alveolar material and if the draining direction has to be specified, some cells shall be enlargened and the draining notches shall be represented by two parallel line
24、s which cross the sides of the drained cells (see figure 8 and figure 9) in a view which is parallel to the panel plane. 26、eolar material an if the draining direction has to be specified, some cells shall be enlargened and the perforations shall be represented by a circle which crosses the sides of the perforated cells (see figure 12 and figure 13) in a view which is parallel to the panel plane. Figure 14 4.2.3 Filling zones The filling zones of alveolar cells are limited by
28、 a fine continuous line and the filling is represented by hatching. For identification of the material and the filling process, refer to a note (see figure 15). Fillings of edges are not represented in a plane view. Only the cross section which defines the edging profile indicates the filling. For a
29、 cross-sectional representation, these filling zones shall include: - filling of the whole cell, - filling of the edging, - alveolar material joinings (see figure 16). 31、re 17). Inserts are represented by their geometry within the cross section.
