14、lane length joining it at an angle of (138 I I)“ as shown in Figure I. The width of the block should be wide enough to fully support the sample under test. The upper surface should have a minimum length of 200 mm and the inclined plane should have a NOTE minimum length of 400 mm. 6.1.2 individual te

The samples are conditioned and tested in a standard atmosphere of (65 f 2) % r.h. and 8 Test procedure 8.1 Conduct the test within the Standard Temperate Atmosphere For Tes
18、ting (65 f 2) % r.h. and (20 f 2) OC. 8.2 Place the specimen between two plate glass sheets for at least 2 hours and then remove. 8.3 Lay the specimen on the horizontal surface terminated at one end by a straight edge so that the length of the specimen is at right angles to, and one end is level wit
19、h, that edge. Place a ruler or suitable block of wood on top resting against the fabric guide and with its edge level with the edge of the sample, the underside of which is sufficiently rough to grip the specimen. NOTE 1 In order to achieve a better grip on the specimen adhesive, double sided adhesi
20、ve tape or fine emery paper may be applied to the rule or block of wood to aid grip on sample. NOTE 2 The O mm mark of the ruler should coincide with the edge of the specimen at the change of slope. Page 5 prEN 4504: 2001 8.4 the end of the sample touches the inclined plane when bending.
