6、f Technical Report of one of the following types may be proposed: Type 1, the subject is still under technical development requiring wider exposure; Type 2, a Technical Committee has collected data of a different kind from that which is normally published as a European Standard. The Electrical Domai

7、n decided to publish this document in the form of a Technical Report of type 2 in order to facilitate the updating of this document. Page 4 TR 4643:10-09 1 Scope This Technical Report specifies epoxy qualified for the termination of optical fibre for use in fibre optic connectors conforming to EN 37

8、33 with operating temperatures up to 150 C. Fibre optic connector details, interface dimensions, table of tests and qualification approval requirements, are contained in the Technical Specification of the applicable connector standard. The corresponding List of product standards includes the listing

21、ecification Epoxy is qualified when used for the termination of fibre optic connectors that demonstrate compliance when tested to the qualification requirements of the Technical Specification and applicable Product Standards. Use of an alternative epoxy shall require formal verification by means of

22、a full qualification programme as detailed in these documents. See Table 4.
