General Conditions of Delivery3.1 Materials furnished to this specification shall conform tothe requirements of SpecificationA1025, including any supple-mentary requirements that are indicated in the purchase order.Failure to comply with th
5、e general requirements of Specifica-tion A1025 constitutes nonconformance with this specification.In case of conflict between the requirements of this specifica-tion and Specification A1025, this specification shall prevail.4. Chemical Composition4.1 The various grades shall conform to the requireme
6、nts asto chemical composition prescribed in Table 1.4.2 The manufacturer shall furnish an analysis of eachshipment showing the silicon content and when required, suchof the other elements specified in Table 1.5. Size5.1 The various grades are available in sizes as listed inTable 2.5.2 The sizes list
7、ed in Table 2 are typical as shipped fromthe manufacturers plant. These alloys exhibit varying degreesof friability; therefore, some attrition may be expected intransit, storage, and handling. A quantitative test is not avail-able for rating relative friability of ferroalloys. A code systemhas been
8、developed, therefore, for this purpose, and a numberrating for each product type is shown in the last column ofTable 2. Definitions applicable to these code numbers are givenin Specification A1025.6. Chemical Analysis6.1 Unless otherwise agreed upon, the chemical analysis ofthe material shall be mad
9、e in accordance with Test MethodsE360.6.2 If alternative methods of analysis are used, MethodsE360 shall be used for referee.6.3 Where a method is not given in Methods E360 for theanalysis for a particular element, the analysis shall be made inaccordance with a procedure agreed upon between the manu
