3、amless cold-drawn low-carbon steel tubes for tubular heatexchangers, condensers, and similar heat transfer apparatus.1.2 This specification covers tubes18 to 3 in. 3.2 to 76.2mm, inclusive, in outside diameter.NOTE 1Tubing smaller in outside diameter and having a thinner wallthan indicated in this s

4、pecification is available. Mechanical propertyrequirements do not apply to tubing smaller than18 in. 3.2 mm inoutside diameter or with a wall thickness under 0.015 in. 0.4 mm.1.3 The values stated in either inch-pound units or SI unitsare to be regarded separately as standard. Within the text, theSI

5、 units are shown in brackets. The values stated in eachsystem are not exact equivalents; therefore, each system mustbe used independently of the other. Combining values from thetwo systems may result in nonconformance with the specifi-cation. The inch-pound units shall apply unless the “M”designatio

Heat Treatment6.1 Tubes shall be heat treated after the final cold draw passat a temperature of 1200F 650C or higher.7.

10、 Surface Condition7.1 Finished tubes shall be free of scale. A slight amount ofoxidation will not be considered as scale.8. Chemical Composition8.1 The steel shall conform to the following requirements asto chemical composition:Carbon, % 0.060.18Manganese, % 0.270.63Phosphorus, max, % 0.035Sulfur, m
