General Conditions for Delivery3.1 Materials furnished

4、to this specification shall conform tothe requirements of Specification A1025, including any supple-mentary requirements that are indicated in the purchase order.Failure to comply with the general requirements of Specifica-tion A1025 constitutes nonconformance with this specification.In case of conf

5、lict between the requirements of this specifica-tion and Specification A1025, this specification shall prevail.4. Chemical Composition4.1 The various grades shall conform to the requirements asto chemical composition specified in Tables 1 and 2.4.2 The manufacturer shall furnish an analysis of eachs

6、hipment showing the elements specified in Table 1.4.3 The values shown in Table 2 are expected maximums.Upon request of the purchaser, the manufacturer shall furnishan analysis for any of these elements on a cumulative basisover a period mutually agreed upon between the manufacturerand the purchaser

7、.5. Size5.1 The various grades are available in sizes as listed inTable 3.5.2 The sizes listed in Table 3 are typical as shipped fromthe manufacturers plant. These alloys exhibit varying degreesof friability; therefore, some attrition may be expected intransit, storage, and handling. A quantitative

8、test is not avail-able for rating relative friability of ferroalloys. A code systemhas been developed, therefore, for this purpose, and a numberrating each product type is shown in the last column of Table3. Definitions applicable to these code numbers are given inSpecification A1025.6. Chemical Ana

9、lysis6.1 The chemical analysis of the material shall be made inaccordance with the procedure for the ferroalloys as describedin Test Methods E363 or alternative methods, agreed upon bythe purchaser and supplier, that will yield equivalent results.6.2 If alternative methods of analysis are used, in c

10、ase ofdiscrepancy, Test Methods E363 shall be used for referee.6.3 Where no method is given in Test Methods E363 for theanalysis for a particular element, the analysis shall be made inaccordance with a procedure agreed upon between the manu-facturer and the purchaser.7.
