1、Designation: A982/A982M 10 (Reapproved 2015)Standard Specification forSteel Forgings, Stainless, for Compressor and TurbineAirfoils1This standard is issued under the fixed designation A982/A982M; the number immediately following the designation indicates the yearof original adoption or, in the case

2、of revision, the year of last revision. A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval.A superscript epsilon () indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1. Scope1.1 This specification covers stainless steel forgings forcompressor and turbine bucket, blade, a

3、nd airfoil applications.1.2 This specification is expressed in both inch-pound unitsand in SI units; however, unless the purchase order or contractspecifies the applicable M designation (SI units), the inch-pound units shall apply. The values stated in either inch-poundunits or SI units are to be re

4、garded separately as standard.Within the text, the SI units are shown in brackets. The valuesstated in each system may not be exact equivalents; therefore, each system shall be used independently of the other. Combin-ing values from the two systems may result in nonconformancewith the standard.2. Ref
