Scope1.1 This specification2covers nickel-chromium-iron alloys(UNS N06600, N06601, N06603, N06690, N06693, N06025,N06045, and N06696),3nickel-chromium-cobalt-mol

4、ybdenumalloy (UNS N06617), and nickel-iron-chromium-tungsten al-loy UNS N06674), in cold-worked annealed, hot-workedannealed, and hot-finished seamless pipe and tube intended forgeneral corrosion resistant and heat resistant applications.1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regardedas

15、s Specific to This Standard:3.1.1 average diameter, nthe average of the maximum andminimum outside diameters, as determined at any one crosssection of the pipe or tube.3.1.2 pipe, ntube conforming to the particular dimensionscommercially known as pipe sizes. Ordering Information4.1 It is the responsibility of the purchaser to specify allrequirements that are necessary for

21、cal Composition5.1 The material shall conform to the composition limitsspecified in Table 1.5.2 If a product (check) analysis is performed by thepurchaser, the material shall conform to the product (check)analysis variations in Specification B880.6. Heat Treatment6.1 Heat treatment of N06674 after c

22、old-working or hot-working shall be solution annealing by heating to 2150F(1175C) minimum, followed by quenching in water or rapidlycooling by other means.7. Mechanical Properties and Other Requirements7.1 Tensile TestThe material shall conform to the tensileproperties specified in Table 2.7.1.1 Ten

23、sile properties for material specified as small-diameter and light-wall tube (converter sizes) shall be asprescribed in Table X1.1.7.2 Hydrostatic or Nondestructive Electric TestEach pipeor tube shall be subjected to either the hydrostatic test or thenondestructive electric test. The type of test to

24、 be used shall beat the option of the manufacturer, unless otherwise specified inthe purchase order.7.3 Grain Size:7.3.1 Grain size for N06674 shall be 7 or coarser, asdetermined in accordance with Test Methods E112.8. Dimensions and Permissible Variations8.1 Diameter, Wall Thickness, and LengthThe

25、permissiblevariations in the outside diameter and wall thickness shallconform to the permissible variations prescribed in the Permis-sible Variations for Outside Diameter and Wall Thickness ofSeamless Cold-Worked Pipe and Tube, Permissible Variationsfor Outside Diameter and Wall Thickness of Hot-Fin

26、ishedTube, and Permissible Variations for Outside Diameter andWall Thickness of Seamless Hot-Worked Pipe tables in Speci-fication B829. The permissible variations in the length shallconform to the permissible variations prescribed in the Permis-sible Variations in Length table in Specification B829.

27、8.2 Permissible variations for material specified as small-diameter and light-wall tube (converter size) shall conform tothe permissible variations prescribed in Table X1.2.9. Workmanship, Finish, and Appearance9.1 The material shall be uniform in quality and temper,smooth, commercially straight, an

28、d free of injurious imperfec-tions.10. Sampling10.1 Lot Definition:10.1.1 A lot for chemical analysis shall consist of one heat.10.1.2 A lot for all other testing shall consist of all materialfrom the same heat, nominal size (excepting length), andcondition.10.1.2.1 Where material cannot be identifi

29、ed by heat, a lotshall consist of not more than 500 lb (227 kg) of material in thesame condition and nominal size (excepting length).10.2 Test Material Selection:10.2.1 Chemical AnalysisRepresentative samples fromeach lot shall be taken during pouring or subsequent process-ing.10.2.1.1 Product (chec

Specimen Preparation12.1 Room-Temperature Tension SpecimenMaterial shallbe tested in the direction of fabrication. Whenever possible, allpipe and tube shall be tested in full tubular size. When testing

42、in full tubular size is not possible, longitudinal strip specimens,or the largest possible round specimen, shall be used. In theevent of disagreement when full tubular testing is not possible,a longitudinal strip specimen with reduced gage length ascontained in Test Methods E8 shall be used.13. Test

43、 Methods13.1 Chemical CompositionIn case of disagreement, thechemical composition shall be determined in accordance withTest Methods E1473 or Methods E38. Methods E38 is to beused only for elements not covered by Test Methods E1473.13.2 Tension TestTension testing shall be conducted inaccordance wit

44、h Test Methods E8.13.3 Hydrostatic TestEach pipe or tube with an outsidediameter18 in. (3 mm) and larger and with wall thickness of0.015 in. (0.38 mm) and over shall be tested by the manufac-turer to an internal hydrostatic pressure of 1000 psi (6.9 MPa)provided that the fiber stress calculated in a
