3、cope *1.1 This specification2covers aluminum and aluminumal-loy seamless pipe in the alloys (Note 1) and tempers shown inTable 1 Table 2 and extruded round seamless tube in thealloys and tempers shown in Table 3 Table 4 intended forpressure applications. The standard sizes for seamless pipe areliste

4、d in Table 16.7 of ANSI H35.2 and H35.2M. Nonstandardalloys, tempers, and sizes of pipe are produced as seamlessextruded tube.NOTE 1Throughout this specification, use of the term alloy, in thegeneral sense, includes aluminum as well as aluminum alloy.NOTE 2For other seamless drawn tubes, see Specifi

5、cation B 210 orSpecification B 483. For extruded tube see Specification B 221, and forstructural pipe and tube see Specification B 429.1.2 Alloy and temper designations are in accordance withANSI H35.1 and H35.1M. The equivalent Unified NumberingSystem alloy designations are those of Table 5preceded

6、 by A9,for example, A91100 for aluminum 1100 in accordance withPractice E 527.1.3 For acceptance criteria for inclusion of new aluminumand aluminum alloys in this specification, see Annex A2.1.4 The values stated in either inch-pound or SI units are tobe regarded separately as standard. The SI units

7、 are showneither in brackets or in separate tables. The values stated ineach system are not exact equivalents; therefore, each systemmust be used independently of the other.
