Scope1.1 This specification covers welded UNS N08120, UNSN08800, UNS N08810 and UNS N08811* alloy boiler

3、, heatexchanger, and condenser tubes for general corrosion resistingand low or high-temperature service.1.2 This specification covers tubes18 to 5 in. (3.18 to 127mm), inclusive, in outside diameter and 0.015 to 0.500 in. (0.38to 12.70 mm), inclusive, in wall thickness. Table 2 of Speci-fication B 7

4、51 lists the dimensional requirements of these sizes.Tubes having other dimensions may be furnished providedsuch tubing complies with all other requirements of thisspecification.1.3 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regardedas the standard. 7、formation3.1 Orders for material to this specification should includethe following information:3.1.1 Quantity (feet or number of lengths),3.1.2 UNS Number,3.1.3 Size (outside diameter minimum or average wallthickness),3.1.4 Length (random or specific),3.1.5 Class,3.1.6 ASTM Designation,3.1.7 Product

8、 AnalysisState if required,3.1.8 CertificationState if a certification or a report of testresults is required, and3.1.9 Purchaser InspectionState which tests or inspec-tions are to be witnessed, if any.4. Materials and Manufacture4.1 Tube shall be made from flat-rolled alloy by an auto-matic welding

9、 process with no addition or filler metal. Subse-quent to welding and prior to final annealing, the material shallbe cold-worked in either the weld metal only or both weld andbase metal.4.2 Tube shall be furnished with oxide removed. Whenbright annealing is used, descaling is not necessary.5. Chemic

10、al Composition5.1 The material shall conform to the composition limitsspecified in Table 1. One test is required for each lot as definedin Specification B 751.5.2 If a product analysis is performed, it shall meet thechemistry limits prescribed in Table 1, subject to the analysistolerances specified

11、in Table 6 of Specification B 751.6. Mechanical and Other Properties6.1 Mechanical PropertiesThe material shall conform tothe mechanical property requirements specified in Table 2. Onetest is required for each lot as defined in Specification B 751.6.2 Grain SizeA transverse sample representing the f

12、ull-wall thickness of annealed alloys UNS N08120, N08810, andN08811 shall conform to an average grain size of ASTM No.5 or coarser.6.3 Flattening TestA flattening test shall be made on eachend of one tube per lot. Superficial ruptures resulting fromsurface imperfections shall not be cause for reject

13、ion.6.4 Flange TestA flange test shall be made on each end ofone tube per lot.1This specification is under the jurisdiction of ASTM Committee B02 onNonferrous Metals and Alloys and is the direct responsibility of SubcommitteeB02.07 on Refined Nickel and Cobalt and Their Alloys.Current edition approv
