Scope1.1 This specification covers rolled precipitation hardenablenickel alloy (N07718)* plate, sheet, and strip in the annealedcondition (temper).1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regardedas standard. 16、form to the requirements as tochemical composition prescribed in Table 2.6.2 If a product (check) analysis is performed by thepurchaser, the material shall conform to the product (check)analysis variations prescribed in Specification B906.7. Mechanical and Other Requirements7.1 Tensile PropertiesThe

17、 material after precipitationhardening shall conform to the tensile properties prescribed inTable 3.7.2 Stress-Rupture PropertiesThe material after precipita-tion hardening shall conform to the stress-rupture propertiesprescribed in Table 4.8. 18、eight:8.1.1 PlateThe permissible variation under the specifiedthickness and permissible excess in overweight shall notexceed the amounts prescribed in Specification B906,Table A3.1.8.1.1.1 For use with Specification B906, Table A3.1, , plateshall be assumed to weigh 0.296 lb/in.3(8.19 g/cm3).8.1.2 S

19、heet and StripThe permissible variations in thick-ness of sheet and strip shall be as prescribed in SpecificationB906, Table A3.3. The thickness of strip and sheet shall bemeasured with the micrometer spindle38 in. (9.5 mm) or morefrom either edge for material 1 in. (25.4 mm) or over in widthand at

20、any place on the strip under 1 in. in width.8.2 Width or Diameter:8.2.1 PlateThe permissible variations in width of rectan-gular plates and diameter of circular plates shall be asprescribed in Specification B906, Table A3.4 and Table A3.5.8.2.2 Sheet and StripThe permissible variations in widthfor s

The manufacturershall demonstrate that annealed material is capable of meeting the propertiesprescribed in Table 3 after precipitation heat treatment. For UNS N07718,precipitation heat treatment shall consist of heating to 1325 25F (7

Time to rupture and e

32、longation require-ments shall be as specified in Table 4.Testing may also be conducted using incremental loading. In such case, thestress specified in Table 4 shall be maintained to rupture or for 48 h, whicheveroccurs first. After the 48 h and at intervals of 8 to 16 h, preferably 8 to 10 h,thereaf

33、ter, the stress shall be increased in increments of 5000 psi (34.5 MPa).Time to rupture and elongation requirements shall be as specified in Table 4.B670 07 (2013)2length of the product in feet (0.04 mm multiplied by the lengthof the product in centimetres).8.4.2 Straightness for coiled strip materi

34、al is subject toagreement between the manufacturer and the purchaser.8.5 Edges:8.5.1 When finished edges of strip are specified in thecontract or purchase order, the following descriptions shallapply:8.5.1.1 Square-edge strip shall be supplied with finishededges, with sharp, square corners, and with

35、out bevel orrounding.8.5.1.2 Round-edge strip shall be supplied with finishededges, semicircular in form, and the diameter of the circleforming the edge being equal to the strip thickness.8.5.1.3 When no description of any required form of stripedge is given, it shall be understood that edges such a

36、s thoseresulting from slitting or shearing will be acceptable.8.5.1.4 Sheet shall have sheared or slit edges.8.5.1.5 Plate shall have sheared or cut (machined, abrasive-cut, powder-cut, or inert-arc-cut) edges, as specified.8.6 Squareness (Sheet)For sheets of all thicknesses, theangle between adjace

37、nt sides shall be 90 6 0.15 (116 in. in 24in.) (1.6 mm in 610 mm).8.7 FlatnessStandard flatness tolerances for plate shallconform to the requirements prescribed in Table 5. “Speciallyflattened” plate when so specified, shall have permissiblevariations in flatness as agreed upon between the manufactu

Sampling9.1 LotDefinition:9.1.1 Where material cannot be identified by heat, a lot shallconsist of not more than 500 lb (227 kg) of material in the samethickness and condition, except for plates weighing over 500lb, in which case only one specimen shall be taken.10. Number of

Specimen Preparation11.1 Stress-rupture specimens shall be the same as tensionspecimens except modified as necessary for stress-rupturetesting in accordance with Test Methods E139.12. Test Methods12.1 The stress rupture properties of the material as enu-
