Mechanical and Other Requirements5.1 Tension TestThe mechanical properties of the materialat room temperature shall conform to those shown in Table 1.The sampling and specimen preparation are covered in Speci-fication B829.5.2 Hydrostatic or Nondestructive Electric TestEach pipeor tube shall
11、 be subjected to either the hydrostatic test or to thenondestructive electric test. The type of test to be used shall beat the option of the manufacturer, unless otherwise specified inthe purchase order.6. Dimensions and Permissible Variations6.1 The requirements of Specification B829 will applyexce
12、pt for hot-finished pipe and tube dimensional requirementsshown in Table 2.7. Chemical Requirements7.1 The material shall conform to the requirements as tochemical composition specified in Table 3.
