1、Designation: B 853 07Standard Specification forPowder Metallurgy (PM) Boron Stainless Steel StructuralComponents1This standard is issued under the fixed designation B 853; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or, in the case of revision, the year of

2、 last revision. A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon (e) indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1. Scope*1.1 This specification covers stainless steel powder metal-lurgy (PM) structural components with a 7.7-g/cm3minimumdens

3、ity that are fabricated from prealloyed powder consistingprimarily of iron, chromium, nickel, molybdenum, and boron2and are intended for use in corrosive service.1.2 With the exception of density values, for which g/cm3 isthe industry standard, the values stated in inch-pound units areto be regarded

4、 as the standard. The SI values given inparentheses are converted in accordance with IEEE/ASTM SI10 and are for information only.2.
