、Designation: C1289 121Standard Specification forFaced Rigid Cellular Polyisocyanurate Thermal InsulationBoard1This standard is issued under the fixed designation C1289; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or, in the case of revision, the year of la

、st revision. A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon () indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval. This standard has been approved for use by agencies of the Department of Defense.1NOTE4.1.2.4 was editorially corrected in December

、2012.1. Scope1.1 This specification covers the general requirements forfaced thermal insulation boards composed of rigid cellularpolyisocyanurate surfaced with other materials. The insulationboards are intended for use at temperatures between 40 and200F (40 and 93C). This specification does not cove

、rcryogenic applications. Consult the manufacturer for specificrecommendations and properties in cryogenic conditions. Forspecific applications, the actual temperature limits shall beagreed upon by the manufacturer and the purchaser.1.2 This standard is intended to apply to rigid cellularpolyurethane

、-modified polyisocyanurate thermal insulationboard products that are commercially acceptable as non-structural panels useful in building construction. The termpolyisocyanurate encompasses the term polyurethane. Forengineering and design purposes, users should follow specificproduct information provi
