Ordering Information5.1 The purchaser shall specify the type of polymer modifierdesired and the size and type of containers in which thematerial is to be supplied.6. Physical and Mechanical Properties6.1 The polymer modifier shall produce test mortar or testconc
15、rete which conforms to the requirements listed in Table 1for the type specified.7. Lot Uniformity and Equivalence7.1 When specified by the purchaser, the uniformity of a lot,or the equivalence of different lots from the same source shallbe established by evaluation following Specification C 494,with
16、 the following exception:7.1.1 Residue by Oven DryingWithin a range not greaterthan 2 percentage points of the initial sample.8. Storage8.1 The supplier shall store the polymer modifier in such amanner as to permit easy access for proper inspection andidentification of each shipment, in a suitable b
17、uilding that willprotect the polymer modifier from dampness and freezing, andin accordance with manufacturers recommendations.9. Sampling and Inspection9.1 The supplier shall provide facilities for proper samplingof the product as specified by the purchaser.9.2 Sampling shall conform to the requirem
18、ents of Specifi-cation C 494.10. Test Methods10.1 Test the polymer modifier in accordance with therequirements of Test Methods C 1439.11. Rejection11.1 The purchaser has the right to reject the polymermodifier if it fails to meet any of the applicable requirements ofthis specification.11.2 It is per
19、mitted to reject packages that are more than2 % below the mass or volume marked on them, and it ispermitted to reject the entire shipment if the average mass ofpackages in any shipment, as shown by weighing 50 packagestaken at random, is less than that marked on the packages.12. Packaging and Packag
20、e Marking12.1 When the polymer modifier is delivered in packagesand containers, the proprietary name of the polymer modifier,the type under this specification, and the net mass or volumeshall be plainly marked thereon. Similar information shall beprovided in the shipping papers accompanying bulk shi
21、pmentsof the polymer modifier.13.
