Scope1.1 This specification covers structural cementitious panels.Structural cementitious panels are non-combustible, waterdurabl

3、e, fiber reinforced inorganic composite panels intendedfor use as structural panels. Structural cementitious panels canbe used as floor, roof and wall sheathing when fastened tosupports spaced in accordance with the appropriate span rating.1.2 This specification defines minimum performance re-quirem

4、ents for structural cementitious sheathing panels withrespect to structural performance, dimensional stabilityperformance, dimensional tolerance, noncombustibility, sur-face burning characteristics, long-term durability, waterdurability, mold resistance, density, moment capacity andbending stiffness

5、.1.3 This specification also defines a policy to assure on-going product quality by detecting changes in panel propertiesthat may adversely affect panel performance. Required auditsof quality activities by a third party quality assurance agencyare also defined.1.4 The values stated in either inch-po

6、und units or SI unitsare to be regarded separately as standard. Within the text, theSI units are shown in brackets. The values stated in eachsystem may not be exact equivalents; therefore, each systemshall be used independently of the other. Combining valuesfrom the two systems may result in non-con

Terminology3.1 Definitions of Terms Specific to This Standard:3.1.1 cross machine direction (XMD), nthe direction per-pendicular to the machine direction.3.1.2 edge, nedges of a panel refer to

For example, ona4by8ftpanel, the edgesrefer to the sides of the panel that are 8 ft long.3.1.3 end, nthe end of a panel refers to the short side of arectangular panel. Generally, such conditions arereferred to as the dry or wet conditions.3.1.19 test specimen, nspecimens cut from a sa

23、mple panelthat are used for testing.3.1.20 water durability, nperformance of a product aftersustained immersion in water for a specified period of time.4. Performance Specifications for StructuralCementitious Panels4.1 Structural cementitious panels are fiber-reinforced inor-ganic composite panels i

24、ntended for use as structural panels.When used as a floor sheathing panel, structural cementitiouspanels can be used as a combination subfloor and underlayment(single floor grade) or as a sheathing grade panel, which whenused as a floor requires an underlayment panel on top of it. Ineither case, pan

25、els must be fastened to supports spaced inaccordance with the panels span rating. Sections 5 through 13describe qualification procedures and initial testing required todemonstrate that the panels performance characteristics meetthe requirements of this standard.5. Structural Performance5.1 Concentra

26、ted LoadsPanels shall be tested accordingto the procedures of Test Method E661 for concentrated staticand impact loads. Panels shall conform to the criteria of Tables1 and 2 for the end use and span shown on the panel.5.2 Uniform LoadsPanels shall be tested according to theprocedures of Test Method

27、E330 for uniform loads. Uniformloads shall be applied in both the positive and negativedirections. 31、ions applicable to lateral fastener loadtesting. For withdrawal loads, panels shall be tested accordingto Test Methods D1037, using the sections applicable towithdrawal load testing. Panels shall conform to the criteria ofTable 4 for the end use and thickness shown on the panel.6. Stability Performa

32、nce6.1 Linear ExpansionPanels shall be tested according toTest Methods C1185, using the section applicable to linearexpansion. Linear expansion of the structural panel shall notexceed 0.1 %, in either the machine or cross machine direction.Testing shall be initiated 28 days after panel production.6.

33、2 Thickness SwellPanels shall be tested according toTest Methods D1037, Method B. Thickness swell of the floorsheathing panel shall not exceed 3 %. Testing shall be initiated28 days after panel production.6.3 Water AbsorptionPanels shall be tested according toTest Method C1704/C1704M, using the sect

34、ion applicable towater absorption. Water absorption of the floor sheathing panelshall not exceed 15 % when tested at the age of 28 days.6.4 Panel Freeze/ThawPanels shall be tested in accor-dance with Test Methods C1185, using the section applicableto panel freeze/thaw. Panels shall retain a minimum

35、of 75 % ofthe control strength values after 50 cycles, in either themachine or cross machine direction. Testing shall be initiated at28 days after panel production.7. Dimensional Tolerance and Squareness of Panels7.1 Length and WidthA tolerance of 618 in. 63.2 mmshall be allowed on specified length

36、and/or width.7.2 ThicknessA tolerance of 6132 in. 60.8 mm forspecified thicknesses.7.3 Squareness and StraightnessPanels shall be squarewithin164 in. 0.4 mm per lineal foot of panel length, asmeasured along the diagonals. All panels shall be manufac-tured so that a straight line drawn from one corne

37、r to theadjacent corner is within116 in. 1.6 mm of the panel edge.8. Noncombustibility8.1 Panels shall be tested according to Test Method E136 atan age of 28 days. Surface Burning Characteristics9.1 Panels shall be tested according to Test Method E84 forsurface burning characteristics at an age of 28 days. Testspecimens shall achieve a 0 flame spread and a maximumsmoke developed of 5.10.

45、 Long-Term Durability10.1 Panels shall be tested per Test Methods C1185, usingthe section applicable to long-term durability, with condition-ing initiated at an age of 28 days after production. A minimumretention of 75 % of maximum load and maximum deflectionvalues shall be achieved for the wet cond

46、itioned specimenscompared to the control samples. Testing shall be conducted inboth the machine and the cross machine directions.11. Water Durability11.1 Panels shall be tested per Test Methods C1185, usingthe section applicable to water durability, at an age of 28 daysin an as-is and wet condition.

47、 Wet specimens shall retain aminimum of 70 % of the maximum load and maximumdeflection compared to the as-is samples. Testing shall beconducted in both the machine and the cross machine direc-tions.12. Mold Resistance12.1 Panels shall be tested for mold resistance per TestMethod D3273 and Practice G

48、21. Test specimens shall have amold resistance value of 10 when tested per Test MethodD3273 and a mold resistance value of 1 or less when tested perPractice G21. In both cases, testing shall be initiated at 28 daysafter production of the panels.13. Density13.1 Panels shall be tested for density in a

49、ccordance withTest Method C1704/C1704M, using the section applicable todensity. Testing shall be initiated at 28 days after production ofthe panels. Density shall be 70 pcf 1124 kg/m3 minimum.14. Sampling and Inspection14.1 Panel samples shall be selected in sufficient quantity toenable statistical analysis. Test specimens prepared from panelsamples shall be sufficient in number t
