1、Designation: C266 15Standard Test Method forTime of Setting of Hydraulic-Cement Paste by GillmoreNeedles1This standard is issued under the fixed designation C266; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or, in the case of revision, the year of last rev

2、ision. A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon () indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1. Scope*1.1 This test method covers the determination of the time ofsetting of hydraulic-cement paste by means of the Gillmoreneedles.1.2

3、 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded asstandard. No other units of measurement are included in thisstandard.1.3 This standard does not purport to address all of thesafety concerns, if any, associated with its use. It is theresponsibility of the user of this standard to establish appro-p

Summary of Test Method4.1 Sufficient water is added to the cement that is beingtested to produce a paste of normal consistency. A specimen ismolded from

The initial timeof setting is the time elapsed between initial contact of cementand water and the time when the Gillmore Initial needle doesnot leave a complete circular impression in the paste surface.Th

10、e final time of setting is the time elapsed between initialcontact of cement and water and the time when the GillmoreFinal needle does not leave a complete circular impression inthe paste surface.5. Significance and Use5.1 The purpose of this test method is to establish whethera cement complies with
