Welcome to Redford Automobile. Now Id like to draw your attention to the organizational structure of Redford and its achiev

12、ements of last year. If you look at this chart you will see that Mr. Starbucks, the General Director is responsible for running the company and takes care of general affairs in the company. He reports directly to the board. He is assisted by four General Managers. These are Mr. Schrage, who is respo

He is in charge of sales and marketing. Mr. Longfellow travels a lot for promotion and selling. Finally we have Irv

14、in Houston, who is in charge of financing and also we depend on him for money. So this then brings us to the four executive departments. These are Human Resources, which deals with personnel, training and management development. Our policy of personnel development through training and promotion oppo

15、rtunities has continued to be a great success. Last year we recruited 10 senior engineers and 28 graduates with Masters degrees. At the same time 15 have retired, so there is a net balance of 23. The training section has expanded considerably and moved into new areas such as quality assurance and sa

16、les training. Next is the Finance Department, responsible for corporate finance and accounting. The net profit last year was about $12,000,000, which has increased by 10% from the year before. Our Sales and Marketing Department, which takes care of selling and promotion also made great achievements

17、last year. We set the goal at selling 650,000 units for last year but it went as high as 700,000 units. Last comes the Manufacturing and Technique Department, which is in charge of product development and manufacturing. Last year turnover increased by 13%, while costs dropped by 3%. At the same time
