2、revision. A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon () indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1. Scope1.1 This test method2covers the measurement of the cold-crack resistance on all types of upholstery leathers, butespecially in
3、the field of automotive upholstery.3This testmethod does not apply to wet blue.1.2 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regardedas the standard. The values given in parentheses are providedfor information only.1.3 This standard does not purport to address all of thesafety concerns, if any

Summary of Test Method3.1 In this test method, the cold-crack resistance of uphol-stery leather is measured by means of a mechanically-appliedpressure to a cone-shaped specimen of leather after both thespecimen and the pressure-device have been conditioned in acarefully controlled cold cabi

Significance and Use4.1 The results are reproducible5and correlate with the coldimpact test6and also correlate with actual practice conditions.7Acomparison of the significance of this test method with othertest method
