Scope1.1 This test method covers the determination of the degreeof color that may be transferred from the textile tape of zippersof

3、 all fibers to other surfaces by rubbing under wet or dryconditions, or both.1.2 The values stated in either SI units or inch-pound unitsare to be regarded separately as the standard. Within the text,the inch-pound units are shown in parentheses. The valuesstated in each system are not exact equival

4、ents; therefore, eachsystem shall be used independently of the other. 7、rd, refer to TerminologyD 123.4. Summary of Test Method4.1 A specimen of the zipper tape fastened to the base of acrockmeter is rubbed with white crock test cloth under con-trolled conditions. Color transferred to the white test cloth isassessed by a comparison with the AATCC Chromatic Trans-ference

8、 Scale.5. Significance and Use5.1 This test method is considered satisfactory for accep-tance testing of commercial shipments because the method hasbeen used extensively in the trade for acceptance testing.5.1.1 If there are differences of practical significance be-tween reported test results for tw

9、o laboratories (or more),comparative tests should be performed to determine if their isa statistical bias between them, using competent statisticalassistance. As a minimum, the test samples should be used thatare as homogeneous as possible, that are drawn from thematerial from which the disparate te

10、st results were obtained,and that are randomly assigned in equal numbers to eachlaboratory for testing. Other materials with established testvalues may be used for this purpose. The test results from thetwo laboratories should be compared using a statistical test forunpaired data, at a probability l

11、evel chosen prior to the testingseries. If a bias is found, either its cause must be found andcorrected, or future test results must be adjusted in consider-ation of the known bias.6. Apparatus6.1 Apparatus, as specified in AATCC Test Method 8.6.2 Smooth Cardboard Cards, 50 by 200 mm (2 by 8 in.)app

Sampling and Test Specimens7.1 Primary Sampling UnitConsider individual contain-ers from each shipping carton to be the primary sampling units7.2 Laboratory Sampling UnitAs a laboratory samplingunit, take at random one zipper from each primary samplingunit.7.3 Test Sp

Preconditioning is not required.9. Procedure9.1 Center the specimen on the base of the crockmeter sothat it re

17、sts flatly on the abrasive cloth with its long dimensionin the direction of rubbing. Secure the specimen card and testfor colorfastness to crocking as directed in Section 5.1.2 andsubsequent sections of AATCC Test Method 8.10. Interpretation of Results10.1 Interpret the results of the test on the sp

18、ecimens asdirected in AATCC Test Method 8 and Evaluation Procedure 3.11. Report11.1 State that the specimens were tested as directed in TestMethod D 2054. Describe the material or product sampled, andthe method of sampling used.11.2 Report the following information for the laboratorysampling unit an

19、d for the lot as applicable to a materialspecification or contract order:11.2.1 Number of specimens tested,11.2.2 Whether wet or dry crocking test was utilized, and11.2.3 Degree of staining for each specimen as the appro-priate grade on the AATCC Chromatic Transference Scale.12. 20、.1 PrecisionThe precision of this test method is beingestablished.12.2 BiasThe procedure of this test method produces atest value that can be defined only in terms of a test method.There is no independent, referee method by which bias may bedetermined.
