In addition to the rounded tex systemvalues, the decitex (dtex) equivalents have been includedbecau
16、se they can be used throughout most of the count rangewithout employing decimal fractions. The choice of unit isentirely a matter to be determined by each sector of the trade;decitex, for example, is particularly suitable for fine yarns(whether spun or filament) and tex for medium and coarseyarns.7.
