1、Designation: D 2813 03 (Reapproved 2008)Standard Practice forSampling Leather for Physical and Chemical Tests1This standard is issued under the fixed designation D 2813; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or, in the case of revision, the year of l

2、ast revision. A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon () indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval. This standard has been approved for use by agencies of the Department of Defense.1. Scope1.1 This practice covers the sampling of f

3、inished leather andfabricated leather items for physical and chemical tests. Theproduct is grouped into lots that are randomly sampled in sucha manner as to produce a representative sample of the lot. Thissample may be used to determine compliance of the lot withapplicable specification requirements

4、, and on the basis ofresults, the lot may be accepted or rejected in its entirety.1.2 This standard does not purport to address all of thesafety concerns, if any, associated with its use. It is theresponsibility of the user of this standard to establish appro-priate safety and health practices and d

Significance and Use4.1 The sampling p

The physical and chemical properties vary consid-erably depend

This practice defines these parameters.5. Conditioning5.1 Physical tests of leather and leather products, unlessoth
