2、 or, in the case of revision, the year of last revision. A number in parentheses indicates the year of lastreapproval. A superscript epsilon (e) indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval. This standard has been approved for use by agencies of the Department of Defense.1. Sco

It does not specify the lengt

The values stated in eachsystem may not be ex

18、Practice D 3715/D 3715M.7. Test Specimens7.1 Unless otherwise specified, prepare and expose at leastthree replicate specimens of each tape to be tested. The testspecimen dimensions shall be in accordance with the standardto be used subsequent to this exposure or the commodityspecification.7.2 Unwind

Where width or other factorscausing a high adherence to backing make it impossibl

20、e toremove the specimen at the prescribed rate, remove it at a rateas close to 500 mm 20 in./s as possible.7.4 Follow the procedures described in Practice G 147 foridentification, conditioning, and handling of test specimensprior to, during, and after exposure.8. Procedure8.1 Apply the specimen as d

If none, apply the specimen, centered lengthwise, to the panel using the rubber-coveredroller (5.3), holding the specimen so that the roller causes thefirst contact of specimen with the panel.8.1.1 When a test, such as in Test Method D 33

22、30/D 3330M, is to follow this exposure, it is customary to applythe tape to the prescribed panel in accordance with TestMethod D 3330/D 3330M preparatory to the exposure and peelit without reapplication following the exposure.8.1.2 It is usually assumed that it is the backside of thepressure-sensiti

Anydeviation from this would be expressed by the commodityspecification.8.2 Expose specimens in the open-flame carbon arc appa-ratus in accordance with Practice G 151 and Cycle 1 ofPractice G 152 using continuous light and a test cycle consist-ing of 102 min li

The maximum operationalfluctuation allowed is 63C. The chamber air temperatureshall be controlled at 44C at

25、the control point with a maximumoperational fluctuation of 62C. Apparatus equipped withmeans of humidification shall be operated with the humidifierturned off. The total time of exposure shall be as specified inthe material specification.8.3 Expose the specimens according to Cycle 1 of PracticeG 152

26、. Apparatus equipped with means of humidification shallbe operated with the humidifier turned off. The total time ofexposure shall be as specified in the material specification.8.4 Follow the instructions of the commodity specificationrelative to observations, physical tests, or both to be performed
