7、tion3.1 Type IType I solvent is intended for use in thecleaning of space vehicle components, precision assemblies,oxygen systems and electronic equipment by the processes ofspraying, flushing, vapor degreasing, or ultrasonics. The sol-vent is especially applicable for cleaning precision parts andass
8、emblies in clean rooms and for use as a medium in testingthe cleanliness of components that are assumed to be clean.3.2 Types II and IIATypes II and IIA are typically used invapor degreasing applications or in other processes where therequirements for purity and cleanliness are less stringent thanth
9、ose of a cleaning process using Type I solvent.4. Properties4.1 Electronic or ultra-clean and degreasing grades oftrichlorotrifluoroethane shall conform to the requirements pre-scribed in Table 1.5.
