Significance and Use3.1 It is important for the manufacturing and performance ofa brush to have filaments with minimal curl.4.

Procedure5.1 For Testing Synthetic Filaments:5.1.1 Select filaments to be measured.5.1.2 Allow filaments to acclimate to room temperature 70to 75F (21 to 24C) at least two hours.5.1.3 Place a filament on the filament curl deviation chartwith
8、 butt-end at the x-reference point (see Fig. 1).5.1.4 Record the degree of deviation from straight at theother end of the filament.5.1.5 If multiple filaments of the same type and length are tobe measured, repeat 5.1.3 and 5.1.4 for each of the remainingfilaments and average the results.1This practi
