Asuperscript epsilon () indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1NOTEUnits of measure were editorially corrected from hard to soft conversions in April 2011.1. Scope1.1 This practice determines
3、the ability of an adhesive towithstand repeated freezing and thawing cycles at specifictemperatures without any significant change in physical prop-erties.1.2 The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as thestandard. The values given in parentheses are for informationonly.1.3 This practice do

Significance and Use4.1 This practice will provide a procedure for determiningthe stability of an adhesive to withstand five repeated cycles, oras otherwise specified, of freezing and thawing at a specifictemperature.4.2 This practice will allow the user to determine whether

14、 Drive, PO Box C700, West Conshohocken, PA 19428-2959, United States.7.5 Remove container from freezer after the appropriatetime limit and allow to thaw until the adhesive reaches roomtemperature as defined in 6.1. It is recommended that aconstant temperature oven with a temperature set at 24 6 -2C(
15、75 6 -4F) be used for the thawing procedure. This constitutesone freeze / thaw cycle. Remove container lid by appropriatemeans; if the adhesive forms a surface film remove with thetongue depressor without stirring contents.7.6 Insert clean tongue depressor about one inch into theadhesive and remove
