Physical Property Requirements6.1 The physical property values listed within this specifi-cations tables are to be considered minimum specificationvalues. Any requirement for specific test data for a givenproduction lot shall be specified at
41、the time of order. Physicalproperties for products not included in Table S-PAI shall bespecified using Table I for extruded, compression- andinjection-molded products.7. Dimensional Requirements7.1 The type, class, and grade is further differentiated by theuse of Table S-PAI, and dimensional require
42、ments, Tables Aand B. Products shall be produced with the lowest stress levelsfor machined parts and within commercial tolerances asdelineated in Tables A and B. The manner in which thetolerances are obtained is not relevant.7.2 Tubular bar dimensions shall be supplied in the unfin-ished condition,
43、unless otherwise specified at the time of order.7.3 The maximum allowable camber, or bow, or both, shallbe within the limits referenced in Tables A and B.8. Workmanship, Finish, and Appearance8.1 AppearanceThe appearance of products shall be aspublished by the shapes manufacturer.8.2 FinishAll produ
44、cts shall be free of blisters, wrinkles,cracks, gouges, and defects that restrict commercial use of theproduct. Special surface finish shall be supplied only whenspecified in the purchase order or contract.8.3 DefectsAll products shall be free of voids, dirt,foreign material, and embedded particles
45、exceeding132-in.(0.8-mm) maximum diameter as defined below.D7292 1848.3.1 The criteria for determining the internal cleanlinessshall be external visual inspection. A maximum number of twointernal defects per square foot of plate or sheet and one footlength of rod or tubular bar is allowed. Clusters
46、of defects lessthan132-in. (0.8-mm) diameter are to be counted as a singledefect.9. Sampling9.1 Sampling shall be statistically adequate to satisfy therequirements of this specification as applicable.9.2 For purposes of sampling, an inspection lot for exami-nation and tests shall consist of all mate
47、rial of the same type,class, and grade and nominal size submitted for inspection atone time.10. Number of Tests10.1 Routine lot inspection shall consist of all the criteriaspecified in the applicable product tables.10.2 The criteria listed in these product tables and defini-tions are sufficient to e
48、stablish conformity of the shape to thisspecification. When the number of test specimens is not statedin the test method, a single determination is sufficient. If morethan a single determination is made, the results shall beaveraged. The final result shall conform to the requirementsprescribed in th

Test Conditions11.1 Conditioning of SpecimensThe specification valuesand dimensions are based on conditioning techniques outlinedin Procedure A of Practice D618.11.2 Standard ConditionsThe tests shall be conducted atthe standard laboratory conditions of 73.4 6 3.6F (23 6 2C)and 50 6 10 % RH.12.
