1、Designation: D7834 12Standard Test Method forFilling Material Shedding of Paint Brushes1This standard is issued under the fixed designation D7834; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or, in the case of revision, the year of last revision. A number
2、in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon () indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1. Scope1.1 This test method describes the procedure for testing theshedding properties of both natural bristle and syntheticfilament paint brushes (refer

The values given in parentheses are mathematicalconversions to SI units that are provided for information onlyand are not considered standard.1.3 This standard does not purport to address all of thesafe

It is theresponsibility of the user of this standard to establish appro-priate safety and health practices and determine the applica-bility of regulatory limitations prior to use. Some specifichazards statements are given in Section 7 on Hazards.2. Summa
5、ry of Test Method2.1 The amount of filling material removed in this testmethod is calculated to determine the shedding characteristicof the test sample.3. Significance and Use3.1 During the application of coatings, paint brushes canexhibit shedding of filling material onto the coated surface. Ameasu
