Volumetric Flasks3.1 The volumetric flasks shall be of either Style I or StyleII of Fig. 1 and shall conform to the requirements of Fig. 1 andTa
7、ble 1. Each flask shall be marked with the symbol “TC” (or“IN”), the capacity, “20C”, and a 16 mm2marking area. (Allin an optional location on the flask.)4. Centrifuge Tubes4.1 Centrifuge tubes of four types shall conform to therequirements prescribed in Tables 2-4 and Figs. 2-5. The typesshown fit
8、into the metal shields supplied with commerciallyavailable centrifuges. Removal of the glass stoppers from thecentrifuge tubes shown in Fig. 3 and Fig. 4 is advisable beforecentrifugation. The four types of centrifuge tubes specified areas follows:4.1.1 Conical bottom, plain (Fig. 2).4.1.2 Conical b
9、ottom, stoppered (Fig. 3).4.1.3 Conical bottom, stoppered and graduated (Fig. 4).4.1.4 Cylindrical bottom, plain (Fig. 5).5. Sampling and Testing5.1 Refer to Specification E 1157.6. Calibration6.1 Flasks and graduated tubes shall be calibrated in accor-dance with Practice E 542 and conform to applic
10、able require-ments of Specification E 694. Glass shall be Type I, Class A ofSpecification E 438 and annealing shall be in accordance withSpecification E 671.7.
