1、Designation: F336 02 (Reapproved 2016)Standard Practice forDesign and Construction of Nonmetallic Enveloped Gasketsfor Corrosive Service1This standard is issued under the fixed designation F336; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year of originaladoption or, in the case o

2、f revision, the year of last revision. A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval. A superscriptepsilon () indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1. Scope1.1 This practice covers the designs, sizes, classifications, and construction of enveloped gaskets

3、 for severe corrosiveapplications. The envelope serves as the corrosion resistantmember of the composite gasket and is a nonmetallic materialsuch as polytetrafluoroethylene, PTFE, or related materials. The inserts are nonmetallic gasketing materials with or withoutmetal reinforcement. Other types of

4、composite gaskets arecovered in Classification F868.1.2 This standard is based directly upon ANSIB16.212011; for that reason units are as ANSI stated ininches.1.3 This standard does not purport to address all of thesafety concerns, if any, associated with its use. It is theresponsibility of the user
