Basis of Classification4.1 Uses:4.1.1 Condition 1A set of conditions for operation of abicycle on a regular paved surface where the tires do not loseground contact.4.1.2 Condition 2A set of conditions for operation of abicycle which include Co
5、ndition 1 and includes smooth gravelroads and smooth improved trails with moderate grades. Thisset of conditions is not intended to include terrain that resultsin the tires losing ground contact.4.1.3 Condition 3A set of conditions for operation of abicycle that includes Condition 1 and Condition 2
6、as well asrough trails, rough unpaved roads, and rough technical areasand unimproved trails. In this set of conditions, contact withirregular terrain and momentary loss of tire contact with theground may occur.4.1.4 Condition 4A set of conditions for operation of abicycle which includes Condition 1,
7、 Condition 2, Condition 3,and downhill grades on rough trails at speeds in excess of 40km/h (25 mph).5.
