1、Designation: F2971 13Standard Practice forReporting Data for Test Specimens Prepared by AdditiveManufacturing1This standard is issued under the fixed designation F2971; the number immediately following the designation indicates the year oforiginal adoption or, in the case of revision, the year of la

2、st revision. A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval. Asuperscript epsilon () indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1. Scope1.1 This practice describes a standard procedure for report-ing results by testing or evaluation of specimens produced byadd

3、itive manufacturing (AM). This practice provides a com-mon format for presenting data for AM specimens, for twopurposes: (1) to establish further data reporting requirements, and (2) to provide information for the design of materialproperty databases.1.2 The values stated in SI units are required for

4、 all additivemanufacturing related standards. However, when this standardis used in combination with any test method or equipmentspecified in inch-pound units the results should be reportedwith mathematical conversions to SI units immediately follow-ing in parentheses. The conversions shall be provi
