1、Designation: F3040/F3040M 13Standard Test Method forMechanical Static Load Testing of Non-Structural MarineJoiner Bulkheads1This standard is issued under the fixed designation F3040/F3040M; the number immediately following the designation indicates the yearof original adoption or, in the case of rev
2、ision, the year of last revision. A number in parentheses indicates the year of last reapproval.A superscript epsilon () indicates an editorial change since the last revision or reapproval.1. Scope1.1 This test method describes a procedure for evaluatingthe strength of non structural marine joiner o
3、f A, B, andC-Class bulkhead and liner systems. A, B, and C-class bulk-heads are defined and discussed in 2.1.1.2 The values stated in either SI units or inch-pound unitsare to be regarded separately as standard. The values stated ineach system may not be exact equivalents; therefore, eachsystem shal
4、l be used independently of the other. Combiningvalues from the two systems may result in non-conformancewith the standard.1.3 This standard does not purport to address all of thesafety concerns, if any, associated with its use. It is theresponsibility of the user of this standard to establish appro-
5、priate safety and health practices and determine the applica-bility of regulatory limitations prior to use.2. (See Fig. 1.)3.4 Load the bracket at no more than 10 kg 22 lbincrements until a total load of 200 kg 441 lb is obtained.Record deflection from dial indicators at each incremental loador until failure is reached.3.5 If failure is not reached, extend the loading bracketoutward to the next m

Significance and Use4.1 The test method provides information regarding thebehavior of a non-structural A, B, or C-Class bulkhead panelsystem under a stat
9、ic load. Test data for load, moment anddeformation is measured.4.2 Static load test of non-structural marine joiner panelsystems provide a standard method of obtaining data forresearch and development, quality control, acceptance orrejection under specifications, and special purposes. The testscanno

Top and bottomshoes, and panel connection mechanism capable of supporting2135 6 3 mm 84 in. high by 3660 6 3 mm 144 in.minimum wide joiner panel system shall be used.5.2 Loading Br

The loading bracket has supports forloading at different distances, 305 6 3 mm 12 in., 610 6 3mm 24 in., and 915 6 3 mm 36 in. from the bulkhead panelsurface. The loading bracket bulkhead plate has four holes30563 mm 12 in. apart vertically
