、r emerging technologies such as VoIP, as well as access, local and wireless services. This document specifically addresses the ordering process associated with dedicated direct SP SP SIP-based voice service. 1.2 Background The industry recognized the benefits and a need for a uniform ordering proces
、s and corresponding tools to facilitate SIP-based Voice Interworking between two NGN Provider networks. The Ordering Solutions committee of OBF developed this document to begin to address that need. 1.3 Scope The development of signaling, media, security and other interoperability technical requirem
、ents and specifications by other ATIS committees, e.g., PSTC, will drive the ordering information exchange needs and specifications to be documented and maintained by the Ordering Solutions Committee. Although mechanization of this process is outside the scope of this document, sufficient experience
、 with the manual forms and processes described herein may lead to a stable and widely employed process warranting mechanization. Subsequent documents will address any corresponding mechanized requirements for managing and exchanging information. This document serves as the repository for the specifi
、cation (and its development) for information exchanged manually using ordering forms identifying ordering attributes for Layer 3 and above SIP-based voice connections. This specification assumes layer 1 and 2 attributes, although included in the “Data Worksheet”, will be processed through existing O
、BF ordering procedures, and are not impacted herein. 1.4 Purpose The purpose is for this document is to serve as the baseline industry specification for SIP-based voice interworking and to be a placeholder for ongoing analysis and decisions determined by NGN Providers and the ATIS committees respons
、ible for further developing this uniform “industry specification,” including the process, worksheets, job aids and reference material used to facilitate the planning and implementation of NGN SIP-based voice interoperability. 42、is technical report 6 specifies the “test configurations” for verifying the conformance with the desired configuration and service interoperability. The test configurations are used as a framework to specify the call flows in the Test Suites document (see section 3.1.2), which are used to verify the
、 settings (to support ingress and egress processing) of the network border elements for interoperability of a service between providers. 3.1.2 Test Suites for IP Network to Network Interconnection, SIP-Based Voice This technical report 7 specifies a set of call “test scenarios” involving SIP and oth

This “expected reaction” is based upon the protocol profile established for the messages that flow across the NNI. The purpose of these tests is to

、 This technical report 9 specifies the “Interconnection Technical Parameters” that need to be collected and eventually exchanged between two service providers so that they can successfully interconnect IP based facilities and VoIP services at an NNI. It documents the set of technical specifications
