25、and cable (copper and optic fiber) used within equipment assemblies shall satisfy the requirements of VW-1 as specified in ANSI/UL 1581. Any wire and cable exterior to an equipment assembly shall meet the requirements of 4.2. 4.2 Fire Spread Requirements for Wire CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 0.3; or IEEE 1202. Examples of cable types meeting these requirements are: CM, CL2, CL3, OFN, OFC, MP, FPL, and CATV, in addition to those specified in 4.2.1 and 4.2.2. 4.2.4 AC-Powered Wiring the second value is based on three applications of the ignition source.
