22、ealized that common guidelines were needed for the development of XML Schemas and management of namespaces. ATIS has created standards pertaining to the format of namespaces and XML schemas. This document defines their use by the ATIS IPTV Interoperability Forum (IIF) for XML schema development. 1.2
23、 Objective This document defines the use of the ATIS XML Schema Development and Namespace Format to be used by the ATIS IIF Committees. 1.3 Audience This document targets individuals working on ATIS IIF initiatives. It is assumed that the reader has a working knowledge of W3C XML Schema and the XML

30、description of XML schema development. 5 RECOMMENDATIONS FOR SCHEMA DEVELOPERS - NORMATIVE 5.1 Namespace Format The authoring committee shall utilize the ATIS namespace format and guidelines as defined in ATIS-I-0000001, Format of ATIS Namespace, whereby the shall be either “ServiceDelivery/IPTV” or
31、 “TrustManagement/IPTV”. The aspect shall contain the subject of the schema and the schema major version. 34、VE It is not anticipated that the schemas will be published through an ATIS URL. 8 COMPLIANCE - NORMATIVE Compliance to the mandatory schema guidelines is required for approval of a schema definition by the ATIS Committee. Recommendations are expected to be followed unless there is a specific reason
35、 to do otherwise in a specific case. The review process of a proposed schema definition will apply both requirements and recommendations specified in this document. 9 LEGAL NOTICES - NORMATIVE All legal notices are to be inserted at the start of all XML Schema files.
