The IPTV Interoperability Forum (IIF) develops requirements, standards, and specifications that will determine the industrys end-to-end solution for Internet Protocol Television (IPT

35、: Linear TV Service Selection, Attachment, and Usage This scenario tests two scenarios of the Linear TV functionality as specified in ATIS-0800018 5. Scenario 2a: IMS-based Linear TV. Scenario 2b: Non-IMS-based Linear TV. The content of this section is based on ATIS-0800018, IPTV Linear TV Service 5

40、d Linear TV Service IMS-based Linear TV service is intended to provide a similar experience to existing broadcast, satellite, or cable TV services utilizing an IMS core routing structure as the main path for control messaging while leveraging multicast to make the content streams available to multip

41、le users simultaneously. Test cases: 1. Service Attachment and Initial Channel Acquisition. 2. Channel Change without Resource Modification. 3. Channel Change with Resource Modification. 4. The Linear TV service is triggered through user interactio

49、n, preset recording instructions, or other means. 2. The ITF initiates a SIP session by sending a SIP INVITE to the P-CSCF (E3i). 3. The P-CSCF initiates a resource reservation request (reservation phase) to the RACF based on the Bandwidth requested in the incoming INVITE. The RACF allocates the default initial bandwidth (S3).The RACF signals that the bandwidth allocation is complete to the P-CSCF (S3). 4. The P-CSCF forwards the INVITE to the S-CSCF.
