It relates solely to dimensions and tolerances for ground
11、high speed steel tool bits and is essentially based on ISO5421:1977. It differs from ISO5421 with regard to tolerances for round sections, where the British Standard shows a tolerance of h12, when the ISO standard requirement is h9. It also differs with regard to the tolerance on the length of the t
12、hree types of tool bit inasmuch as the ISO standard shows 2mm against+0,3mm for the British Standard. Further differences occur where the British Standard permits square section tool bits to have slanted ends and does not include trapezoidal sections, which are dealt with in the ISO standard. A Brit
