11、dimensions and tolerances for extension adaptors (collets) with external 7/24 tapers for sizes 30, 40, 45, 50, 55 and60 and internal Morse taper sizes 1 to 5. 12、. 2 General 2.1 General dimensions and tolerances 2.1.1 The general dimensions of extension adaptors shall be in accordance with Table 1. 2.1.2 The dimensions and tolerances for the Morse taper shall be identical with those given in BS 1660-1 for the appropriate Morse taper. 2.1.3 The dimensions and
13、 tolerances for the 7/24 taper shall be identical with those given in BS 1660-4 for the appropriate 7/24 taper. 2.2 Tolerance on concentricity The tolerance on the concentricity of the axis of the bore with the external taper shall be 0.025 mm FIM. 2.3 Designation An adaptor shall be designated by i
14、ts external taper and internal taper, in that order. Example.
