7、nization for Standardization (ISO). This British Standard supersedes BS3087:1986 which is withdrawn. The Technical Committee has reviewed the provisions of ISO5744, to which reference is made in the text, and has decided that it is acceptable for use in conjunction with this standard. A related Brit
8、ish Standard to ISO5744:1988 is BS3087-4:1988 Methods of test. It is recommended that pliers, pincers and nippers should be legibly and indelibly marked with a name, trademark or the manufacturing code that will allow traceability. 13、999 1 1 Scope This International Standard specifies the principal dimensions of lever assisted side cutting pliers and end and diagonal cutting nippers, as well as the test values for the pliers and nippers to verify their functioning, according to ISO5744. General technical requirements are given i
14、n ISO5743.
