13、iculture and forestry Technical means for ensuring safety Part 1: General. 3 General requirements 3.1 Front-mounted (according to the direction of travel) coupling halves shall be of a ring-type design. The hitch ring of the leading section shall be designed to accommodate a tractor drawbar clevis a
14、s specified in ISO500. 3.2 Rear-mounted coupling halves shall be of a clevis-type design. 3.3 All couplings shall allow free articulation around the vertical axis and 30 around both the transverse and longitudinal axes. 3.4 Section widths shall comply with the dimensions given in Figure 1. Recommend
15、ed hitch height for the leading section is400 50mm. Recommended hitch height for following sections is approximately equal to the height of the roller axle. 3.5 If the design of the roller requires coupling facilities other than the central ones, any such facilities shall be placed along the centrel
